Spice and I are now registered P.A.T visitors! :) we received all our pack today! However she is going to be spayed next week so we have to patiently wait until she is recovered from her op before we can start visiting.

Quite excited now though :D :D

Well done.    The people in the home where I work love to see my two and they enjoy going there.

How old does the dog have to be ?  Fagan would love to be a PAT dog :)

You have to have owned the dog for a minimumof 9 months and it has to have lived with you for at least 6 months. Have a look Here

Congratulations to you and Spice Jacqueline :)
I always think this is a huge achievement and, its lovely to read of others' successes *feeling slightly envious*  ;)
Well done both....

porkie
thats great news! i want to do this with my leo when he matures and calms down.there is a few school with disabled kids near me and i would love to take him.its only a few hours a week and he wouldn't mind it either all the attention. the only thing that bothers me is all the goodies he will get (fat leo) help! i have been in contact with the rep in my area going to come out and look at him at 2 years.
do you have to get them assessed by a vet for the temperament and see if they spook easy? at least thats what i have been told.
you'll have to keep us updated and what your 1st visit was like.
best wishes as working as a pat dog and owner of course.
