hi all, have decided its time for libbi's pen to come down she is 19 wks,,took the front of on saturday to see how her and molly would cope together on there own they were fine, thought id leave it of for the night came down in the morning to find them sound in there own beds, but the past 2 nights have put them 2 bed gone upstairs come back down about 10 mins later to find molly under the kitchen table and libbi curled up in molly's bed, yesterday morning molly was in the washing basket sound asleep, now should i put her pen back up or just leave them 2 it, there is no fighting between them libbi just thinks ill jump in with molly but molly being molly will just let her and sleep anywhere. any advice please x

as long as you are sure they both will be ok together when youre not there - I dont think it matters where they sleep.
I never had a pen. Libs sleeps in her crate and Gus is upstairs on the bed :)

thanks for that lel just feel sorry for molly being kicked out of her bed and she does love to sleep. if left alone its only whilst i pop to the shop. she did look very cosey in the washing basket lol

Seems to me you that you are going to have to get another washing basket :D :D !

We've had the same experience at one time or another ... it's funny how many unused dog beds I can find around, and how many washing baskets.........

Margot

Edited to say:  and its surprising how often the "best" bed is that basket which contains nicely foldded & ironed washing....

same here.......clean washing.
i have a huge dog bed and usually hes on the floor and 1 some times 2 cats in his bed during the night.
they have their own but can get very comfy in his.he doesn't care if he was in it on the few times he is,the cats will join him any way.in between his legs if needed.
we have always had this with cats and dogs our oldies used to share with the cats (1 boxer & 1 cats) per bed.toby has seen this from 7 weeks so it's ok to him as well.i'm just waiting to see if they can some how get 3 in the bed then its photo time.
have seen it with a boxer and a westie and a westie x but all had to sit up.
dogs can be so daft some times, the cats rule in our house thats for sure!
