Topic Dog Boards / Feeding / Naturediet new varieties?
- By digger [gb] Date 19.08.04 10:06 UTC
Has anyone seen the new Naturediet 'premium' varieties with added herbs?  I think there's a 'senior' diet, as well as a couple of others - main ingredient seems to be tripe, so not sure how they warrant charging the premium price........  And found out yesterday my Jollyes, who always used to charge the same for the fish recipe as the other ordinary ones (56p/pack) now charge the premium price - 65p/pack :(

I use the same pet store and have noticed many price increases recently cooked chic gone up £1.05 a bag in one hit .....

Yep they now do an "Optima gold" with herbs, it smells yummy!! :D  If you feed naturediet, but it direct from them, 4 cases will save you a LOT of money and delivery is free.

Yummy???  'Fraid I don't think so,  :( and I don't mind many smells, but this one was just too much, - a combination of garlic and tripe - yuck!  Think we'll be sticking to the fish and the lamb ones......

The fish one makes me heave!  I like the others, rather fancy the tripe and chicken on a slice of toast!! :D

mental note to self.... NEVER going for tea at Dawns house!!!! :D

Actually though, i dont mind the smell of tripe, smells like horse poo to me (or cow poo)..... fish makes me heave, as do most other things!

Em (NOT gonna eat it on toast!)

Have seen the new premium one up at Pets at Home but it does seem to be aimed for the older dog.  My boys love the fish receipe and yes it does stink but they love it and its easier to mix up with their burns.  The chicken and tripe seems to give them loose poos.  Pay about 64p per pack at the moment.  Although my local pet place will do a box of 18 for £11.50 which works out rather cheap.
