Just over a week ago my partner & I visited an animal sanctuary in Leigh to get a new kitten (my cat had to be put down just before Christmas cos of cancer). Anyway to cut a long story short we didn't get a kitten but we did pick up a 13 wk old GSD off a man who was just bringing him into the sanctuary. Anyway we have since discovered that the dog came from Dogs 4 Us (which I see from msgs on your site is to be avoided). Today we received the "registration" papers which are for The Dog Lovers Registration Club UK Ltd (both of these places are Manchester based). Is there any way we can get him KC registered? On the "registration" papers there is the name & address of a former owner (presumably the man who bred him in the first place).

Can anyone help us at all? Sire & Dam names on the papers include Hilpsford, Anderuss??

Can I ask? as you had gone for a cat,came away with a dog why do you want KC papers?,if this dog had been signed into the sanctuary you wouldnt have got anything at all relating to his /her breeding so I would feel that the paperwork you have should be ok for you to have for a pet. unless of course you bought the dog,anyway regarding the names you said Im sure caitlin on this board will be very interested in that breeding and tell you more about it , she is 'on the case' I believe. I would say just enjoy your dog and be glad he didnt go into the sanctuary.
