Hi everyone,as most of you know my megan missed last time (our 1st) I tried to breed from her,all health tests are updated and we are rareing to go again, shes back in good health, after having enough milk to supply a litter, thats all dried up nicely and ive chosen a nice stud dog that i know is producing nice litters at this moment in time, all the people that wanted 1 of Megs babies then are still waiting for her,so all puppies have gone already,My question is last time before she came in season she blowed her coat and shes doin it again,do you think coming in again?shes actually due in again begining of October,Yellow Lab for those of you that dont know us.I would like to thank everyone for your kind words after our last attempt.Julia + Megxx

Not sure about before a season, but my girls always drop their coats after seasons if not pregnant, or just before whelping if they are pregnant.

Good luck Sandridge, we too are hoping to try again for a litter, not the same girl I must add, fingers crossed for us both.

My Golden drops her coat, and a couple months before comming into season produces a tremendous thick double coat which she keeps until 3-4 months after her season then drops it till she is bald .

Hi. One of my boxer bitches drops her coat also, but the other one never did, mind my first bitch who has just had a litter eight weeks ago is now covered in bald patches, so i guess its quiet normal, good look with Megan
