i hope nobody has fibbed about there age we are all amongst friends!!! :D I am 27 and believe me I am making the most of it ;) Hubby is 30 tommorrow  intend to disown him from now on though! I still feel 15 as this is when I met oh and dont feel a day older despite 4 kids 1 dog 1 cat 4 fish and a neurotic guinea pig. Does everybody feel their age??
- By satincollie (Moderator) Date 16.08.04 12:32 UTC
Nah I have a grandaughter of 15 months and dont feel any older than I did when her mother was the same age :D 20 years ago.:D Gillian
- By katyb [gb] Date 16.08.04 12:35 UTC
but surely it all catches up with you one day? My 9yr old son always feels he has to tell me to behave or calm down and I remind him I am the parent and he just looks at me with a look of pity! he was born old!! I just feel sick about oh being 30 as I remember my mum being in her thirties and it seemed ancient!!!! I dont wanna be old!!!!!!!!!!!! It is about time they invented something to correct this horror!!
- By satincollie (Moderator) Date 16.08.04 12:38 UTC
But your never old, old happens to other people 30 isnt old and nor is 42. 70 is old but I'm sure if I make it then I wont be old 100 will be old then ;)
- By Daisy [gb] Date 16.08.04 12:42 UTC
It's all relative :) My mother had me when she was 40 - I was 30 when I had my youngest, so I comfort myself with the thought that I am doing everything 10 years earlier than my mother and she is now a young 89 :D

:D :D

I do understand how you feel Katyb - but I've found (here speaks the "wise??" old ancient) - that I feel as old - or as young - as the people I am with at any particular time!!

For instance - if I am with a crowd of 20s-30 somethings at work & go for a drink afterwards with them -I can feel as young as they do (so okay, I don't go on to all the nightclubs at midnight, as some of them do.... somebody's got to walk dogs at 6am :D ).

Similarly, if I'm with my sisters, we act as daft as we did when we were teenagers - unless of course, we are all showing off our grandchildren - then we all act "well, we didn't let OURS do that sort of thing etc etc ;)

If I'm with a group of older people - then I'm just treated as a young hipper snappre - and that's the way I like it!!!

I must admit to being shocked to see how OLD an old flame looked - AND he was wearing pale blue slacks...... - can't see my OH getting away with wearing them :D :D

45.
- By Alli [gb] Date 16.08.04 13:35 UTC
I'm 31 and I don't feel too old just yet. I look forward to my 40th (strange I know) but that means the kids are old enough to leave the house and I can have a couple more doggies in their place.

- By abbymum [gb] Date 16.08.04 21:09 UTC
27 (OH says I am 27 going on 19 well he is 31 going on 50) I dont feel like I should have left my teenage years yet I still like going out having far too much to drink I just cant cope with the hangover as well as I used to but I suppose that is what two kids and a puppy does to you.
