my bullmastiff pup is nearly 13 weeks. I'm after some advice on ear taping...i believe it should be done at 16 weeks????...anyone tell me the best way and for how long they should be taped?......many thanks...niceguy  p.s. is there any signs i should be looking for that tells me to start taping them?

Never knew that Mastiffs needed their ears taped I always thought they were natural :confused: Will be interesting to hear the replys :)

yea..they can end up with "rose ears" when teething

a  few folk use copydex to keep the ear in place  when a pups teething,   :)

Did this dog come from a breeder? Maybe the breeder can help you with that. Or if it's a rescue, you could still contact a reputable breeder that knows what they're doing. Good luck.

Hi My bully `s mum had rose ears so we were concern about storms he is now 10months . What we did when he was a pup was massage his ears in the forward position several times a day when giving him cuddles and they sit perfect now . Hope this helps . I can not imagine him 13weeks again he is 8 stone now!
