leaves it a bit wide open.
have you tried owners clubs of the breed your after whos parents have had the health checks needed.

Please also consider very carefully the implications of taking on two puppies at once - housetraining is doubly difficult, and anyother training should be done seperatly - doubling the amount of time it takes.  You should also be prepared to take them out seperatly at least some of the time to prevent them forming too close a bond.

Most reputable trainers won't sell two puppies into the same household anyway - so beware anyone who does :(
