Over the last couple of weeks Morse has had a pink flush along his tummy. thighs and in his oxters with peeling skin. Today after his gallop through woods, mud, long grass and bushes it was really red. Hes not itching, the only change has been me phasing Burns organic dog food lamb and rice in very cautiously - currently on 50% Hills and 50% Burns after 14 days. Now is this the Pointer in the Grass rash Ive heard about or a reaction to the Burns? He had some samples of Burns before I tried him on it, months ago wihtout effects and the Burns nutritionist is blaming "treats" although he has eaten the treats for ages no problems. Any pointer people - lurcher folks, greyhound lovers able to shed light on this?

I'm not a pointer person, a lurcher folk or a greyhound lover :-D ( well I guess I do love greyhounds) but it sounds to me typical of a staphylococci or streptococci infection -- which is a type of yeast infection.

I would take him to the vets if he hasn't been & get him checked out, but usually a/bs & a washing solution usually do the trick. :)
