Probably a stupid question but is there such a thing as a black staffie or do they all have some brindle on them somewhere or another

The breed standard says:

Coat
Smooth, short and close. Colour Red, fawn, white, black or blue, or any one of these colours with white. Any shade of brindle or any shade of brindle with white. Black and tan or liver colour highly undesirable.

i have seen a lot of black stafford but in the right light they all have a little brindle some where.  one of my bitches only had 2 brindle lines on her flancs but it was there and so she was brindle
