Sounds a bit odd this question but i have just paid a deposit for a jack russell which is £500.
they are the best i have seen so dont mind paying this price as most in this area bedfordshire are £350 ish anyway but my friend thinks im mad for paying £500! am i? at the end of the day i want a genuine jack russell not some mutt which dosent look like a jack russell so IMO i think im doing right. would just like some support.

If you are happy with the pup you are getting for ther money then it's worth it.
Being a jack russell terrier person myself,
own 2,depends of the type you are after really meaning short legged or the parson russell terrier,
mine are short legged type are bred from working parents, prices here range from £150 up to £300
as the other poster says if you are happy then thats fine.
good luck
hope you have plenty of energy you will need it :)

Hi, I have just come back from France, and I went into a pet shop (to buy mine a gift) and there were puppies for sale. One was a short legged Jack Russell for about £480.

The price for KC reg Parson Russell Terriers starts at around £350 upwards,so £500 for a jack is very excessive, you should not expect to pay more than£300,all pups are cute and many people let there heart rule their head, but i think the breeder is ripping you of well and truley, what area are they from?
