We've just lost our black flatcoat at 14 and are devastated. unfortunately because my Mum died too I can't find her papers so we don't know her pedigree name (She was Poppy to us) and we can't remember the name of the breeders. I've tried the kennel club but they can't help so I just wondered if anyone knew of a breeder in Deniolen, Caenarfon, North Wales? Poppy was from the same line as our first dog Bramble whose kennel name was Clwyd Cariad  . . .. I can't remember the rest of that either! She came from Dorset from a Mrs Richardson so if anyone knew how to contact her too that would be great.

Sorry, can't help immediately, but maybe Jennie Morgan might know your breeder - I can give you her phone number if you phone me on -1428 653 828.   She's our Flatcoated Retriever Society rep for North/Mid Wales.    I can't find a Richardson from Dorset in the member's lists, although there is one in Oxford, and another in Leeds - maybe they've moved.

If you have the vaccination certificates for your dogs we could trace who the breeder is by date of birth of the dogs.
