Obi was bitten by a JRT the other day, they had growled at each other (both entire males) and then the other owner - who never ever lets his dog off - decided to let his dog off.  It took a while to get the little blighter off, and after we had I could only find two tiny cuts, that have healed up fine, couldn't find anything else at the time, but today i was playing with him and found some yucky scabs on his neck (he has a very thick coat) , after cleaning the gunk away I found at least 4 puncture wounds that while not oozing don't look great, they kind of have the appearance of wet eczema if you know what I mean.
Will salt water be adequate or would he need an antibiotic jab?  We go on holiday Monday so he will be with the dogsitter from Sunday for a week, so I would like to know he is okay before I go.  Typically one of my older dogs has a flare up of her wet eczema at the same time, first time for 4 years!!!  Can you believe it?????
Can anyone advise?  Also, is there a homeopathic remedy for healing/eczema?

Thanks, Hayley

Really dog bites can be nasty and if he has puncture wounds I would recommend ABs to avoid infection or worse.

Obviously with any type of skin complaint it is best to find the cause and eliminate it rather than just treat the symptoms.

You could give Ledum 6c for puncture wounds.

for the wet eczema I would recommend Rhus Tox 6c

I'll take him to the Vets in the morning unless it is looking miraculously better, will try and get some Ledum too (not heard of that one).  Honeys skin flare up is strange, we never knew why she got it originally but it cleared up fairly quickly.  I am using Fuciderm which worked last time and it is looking better, but I can only think it has come back through stress, she was quite poorly a couple of weeks ago with a temporary blockage, so maybe it was that - the vigorous play with the pup can't help either so a week away from him next week won't hurt either... Will get my Mum to give her the Rhus Tox as well.

Thanks Tohme
