My Tara is quite likely to go & hide in the bath tub when theres fireworks/thunder etc, a lady at club ,when i mentioned it says that they seek out somewhere where theyd be safe from the thunder/that cant conduct the electricity!! anybody else heard of this??? if its true im really impressed with my girl!! how brainey!!

What is your bathtub made of?  If it is steel that would quash that theory.  Also the bathroom tends to be quite moist..................... and full of metal taps etc............

Actually if you do some research you will find that it is quite often the reverse, during thunder storms anyway.  They actively seek out metal.

its made of....bath materail that sinks baths & toilets are made out of!

shes never seeked out metal!!!!!!!!

:D :D :D

Baths can be made out of pressed steel, cast iron, acrylic, enamelled steel etc the list is endless...........

The last place I would be standing during an electrical storm would be somewhere surrounded by metal and water! :D

just enamell white stuff!! dont think it has metal inside it????????
not filled with water either!!!!

actually, if it enamel it will have metal inside.  If it is plastic, it's white through and through.

Henry loves the thunder and lightening!  Daft thing!

A word of warning tho about bath tubs.  When my dad was younger lightening struck the bathroom and sparks of electricity came down the taps! he was just about to get in the bath too!!!!! jeepers!

Nowadays most taps are earthed; look under the sink.........
