My toy yorkshire terrier is very fussy about what he eats. I just cannot make up my mind exactly what to give him. I have tried many propriety dog foods and small dog biscuits, but it seems he prefers chicken which I have to cook for him, and I also give him Seven Seas Vetzyme conditioning tables, two a day, just in case he needs the extra food supplement. Is it alright just to give him chicken and the tablets? He is 1 year 8 months old and weighs 4lb 12 ozs. Thank you in anticipation of your help. He is very lively and in good health.

Hi, We have a Sealyham terrier, and she loves chicken, the vet advised us not to give her too many foods that contain wheat, but to mix some boiled rice in with the chicken peices (cooked as you do), and she realy enjoys that.

Try lambs hearts most faddy dogs love them.
Use evening primrose oil for coat.
And remember if your dog will not eat biscuits clean its teeth
every day.

Hi

If you are just giving him chicken meat then this would not constitute a balanced diet.

Heelerkay - I was interested in your comment about if the dog does not eat biscuits then clean its teeth. Since I stopped giving my dogs biscuits (now on raw diet) their teeth have never looked better. Even one bitch who has always had grotty teeth right from a pup now has clean white ones.

Yes you are correct.
My dogs also have alot of raw meat but in this instance I think we were talking about cooked meat.
