Guest you do not leave nearly enough detail for anyone to offer help, why not join so we can ask questions and try to help. No dog should be allowed to bite and no R/R's do not bite either people or other dogs as a general rule but they are the sort of dog that needs care in training they are powerful dogs and not designed by the years of breeding to be backwards in coming forward, they were, and as far as I know, still may be a dog used in tracking big game including lions, so are not going to hold back unless properly trained, they are also known to have a strong guarding instinct. It IMO is not a very sensible cross as some pups are going to get the unwanted traits from both sides and make a dog that is going to be a real handful. So join now and get some advice, as the problems, if you do indeed have problems, will grow with the dog.

It's a common trait of any puppy to bite :)

Indeed it is Lara, but at 9 months, and going ot be a big, powerfull dog, I would be concerned, and think porfessional, experienced training help may be needed.  Thyere is a RR at my traing class who, we all know, is not at all to be trusted wiht other dogs, a wide berth is given by all.  She is owned by a pleasant but slighlty scatty gent, who finds her "pouncing" on small dogs amusing, and her deep throuats growls "just play".  No one else thinks so!  They are a wonderful breed, but need experienced handling and early training.  Crossing with a breed such as a staffi, which has very defined traits of its own, could be a recipe for disaster in inexperienced hands!
bye

Lara, that is why I said we need more information, bitting could mean anything from puppy play to a junvinial attack, with out more info we do not know. And this conbination requires early training if desaster is to be avoided, we do not know if the owner is an experianced dog handler or a total novice. Lets hope they join the board soon :)

Good grief, it gets worse, what I meant to write was:-

Would have edited if I could but by the time I got back to the PC it was too late.
