I am looking for a dog 15" or under, intelligent, highly active, easy to train, coat length does not matter to me! can anyone help!!

Yorkshire Terrier, highly intelligent, i have experience of them, but never owned one myself, but my mother and father bred and showed them for years.

Cocker Spaniel.  Small body with big dog personality.  Easy to train, intelligent and needs to be active.

Or American cocker - intelligence vastly under-rated in the UK, you should see them competing in obedience and agility in the USA!

Quite a few of the terrier breeds would answer your description :D

And leaving aside my partisan feelings for Yankees, how about min. Schanuzers, Min  Poodle, sheltie, . ..... list goes on and on, why not register with the site, tell us what you are looking at a dog to do (eg active pet, agility, etc) and lots of people will be able to give first hand expert advice.

bye

Scottie! 10-11 inches, highly intelligent, easy to train to some degree - I mean the basics at least, Millie loves training and showing off what she can do, and she does all the sits, lay downs, paw, speak etc, weaving through my legs, recall etc which she learnt really easily, but I never took it further than that so I have no idea how good she would be at obedience lol probably terrible for all I know.  But I still say go Scottie!  Oh and they are as highly active as you want them to be.  They will enjoy an hours exercise just as much as they will enjoy a ten minute stroll round the block, so quite adaptable in that respect.
