I have just returned from my walk with my Setter, and he is acting really really strange he keeps trying to be sick, and wont settle, coluld something be in his throat, should i call the vet? or will i just look silly! any ideas?

dont worry about looking silly.....just phone the vet

I'd rather look silly than regretful that I hadn't phoned the vet sooner......  Phone the Vet NOW - Setters can be prone to bloat, which can indicate with symptoms such as you describe.  It can be fatal :(

Maybe the heat?  I would phone the vet to be on the safe side, they won't mind a bit.  Hope he's ok.
