I have read about huskies being good for therapy, can anyone please give advise on how to get into this?

Pets of therapy is a charity founded in June 1993 I think. Welcomed by the Royal college of Nursing. If your pet and I say pet because its not just for dogs, has a suitable temperment you would be allowed to visit Hospitals, nursing homes or hospicies you could visit children and the elderly.
This is a charity close to my heart. We all grow old and for the time I take great pleasure in owning my dogs but you can never take anythin for granted can you. Some of the elderly have dont have friends and family visit on a regular basis so a visit from a PAT animal are so rewarding.
But your pet must have the right temperment and must pass an independant assessment. If you want more details I will surely give them.
