Im very bored this afternoon started a new job so my mind is racing ....with silly questions ...

My Staffs tail curls right up and round back down his back, hence why we call him piglet...is this a fault and with this fault would it not be good to breed?

Just looking to the future....

Thanks

It would be a fault in the show ring, as to breeding a dog with this fault depends on many other things but it is likely to be a hereditary fault, so if he is exceptional in all other respects it may be worth the risk providing the other dog had a perfect tail.

Tails should be likened to an old fashined water pump. may correct itself in time and is not one of the more serious faults but may be hard to get placed against dogs who have correct tail carriage.
