No pet is a 'cool' fashion accessory, guest. They are living beings.

If you want a 'cool' dog, get one of those Japanese robot ones that you can put back in a cupboard when the novelty has worn off and it's gone out of fashion.

Guest, rhodesian ridgebacks are a very active breed which require a lot of exercise and training, you would be best to speak to a breeder/owner of these dogs and meet some in the flesh, ask lots of questions etc and research the breed thouroughly before making a desicion :-)

I think you may have been "looking" for a dubious meaning in guests post, as when I read it I didnt think they meant "cool" as in fashionable, simply "cool" as in good/great/nice etc.

If you go deliberately looking for the bad in people, you will misinterpret things they say which could be quite innocent, (eg guest could be a young person asking a genuine question! only to receive a snappy response - not very nice IMO)

the glass is either half-full or half-empty depending on which angle you CHOOSE to see it from, why not try taking guests question at face value and trying to answer it in a nice, polite manner?

Russett, my house is generally full of teenagers. I know what 'cool' means.

Edit: my glass is always half-full! I also tend to seek the good in the very worst of people.
