Hi,  we are currently looking for an Aussie puppy, this would be our first Aussie although we have always had dogs with which we have done various things, show, agility and most recently obedience.  We have investigated various litters that for one reason or another we decided were not for us.  Having contacted the Puppy list Coordinater we think we may have found a suitable litter but we are waiting for her to contact us to tell us whether the breeder has a long waiting list or not (they are not due for another 9 days!).  The sire of the litter is apparently Thornapple Climate controlled which the nicest Aussie i have seen whilst looking and i am also told he passes on a lovely laid back temp.  The bitch is Gibbons painted lady that i know is a very good working dog but i can't find out much else.  We have not spoken to the breeder yet as we are waiting to hear back from the puppy list lady but i hope this will be the one for us!!

If anyone can tell me anything more about these two dogs (yes i know Climate Controlled's show record, i'm impressed!) I'd be grateful as i'm V. impatient to know more!  Also should this litter fall through if anyone knows of any other pups?  We are looking for a show quality dog that we will also be doing lots of obedience and a bit of agility for fun with. (prefer dog to bitch)

Thanks everyone,

Lesley (L.Finlayson@Tesco.net)

If you go to the Aussie page on champdogs and click on 'Applethorn' you will be able to contact Jayne who owns Lorenzo...climate controlled.I have spoken to her myself and she is a lovely lady who is more than helpful.

I am the puppy co-ordinator........ :-)
The breeder of this litter is busy with her farm at present, as I have explained in my e-mail. I have spoken with her today and she will contact prospective puppy owners over the next week or so........... She only has one other person waiting for a puppy at present, and obviously I have people on my waiting list as well......
Lorenzo's temperament is outstanding, as is his show record. He has produced offspring that are excelling in temperament, and are doing well in the show ring, agility, obedience, stock work and a Guide Dog for the Blind....... This is a repeat mating, and all the previous litter are also doing well in all areas...... The bitch also has a good temperament, and more importantly, produces good temperament...... She works on her owners farm.......
There are not many puppies around at present, but I have a list of all planned litters that are registered with the Australian Shepherd Club of the U.K. for the next couple of months..

Hi Gabrielle, I think you spoke to my mother on the phone the other night?  you must think i'm super impatient but I really hope this is the litter for us as the breed/working combination seems perfect.

Thanks for all your help and I hope we hear from the breeder soon!

Thanks again everyone and maybe we will see you at shows in the future!

If you would like to email me privately I can tell you all about Lorenzo and answer any questions you may have about his temperament , his offspring, and his personality ...

I do work nightshift so you may get emails at strange times .. and also in the middle of sellling my house and moving so I will try to accomodate where possible..

Jayne

Can sympathise with you a bit there!

We're currently thinking of doing similar - anything we do - the dogs are un-doing it as fast as its done!

Hopefully see you around at some point

Heather
+ flatcoats - who have just gone absolutely barmy for no reason!
