Hello All

Willis and Phoebe are fed on Burns with raw Green Tripe. They are doing very well on it, but it occurs to me that I haven't wormed them recently. What are the chances of them picking up worms from the tripe (they don't mix with other dogs) and can anyone recommend me a homeopathic/holistic wormer?

Thanks
C

hiya
it depends on what sort of tripe you are feeding,e.g beef, lamb?
i don't know what you mean by homeopathic/holistic....does it mean 'complete'?  anyway, i use drontal plus for my boxers and have'nt had a problem with it.

I mean "alternative" - as in not one of the usual vet ones: panacur etc. I'm not keen on those wormers and prefer to use as natural as possible :)

okay, sorry
i'm sure someone will come along shortly with an alternative :)

I've used homeopathic wormer on our 2 farm cats with excellent results. They always used to look wormy even with regular worming but after using the homeopathic stuff they looked great, even my hubby commented on it. :)  Haven't used it on the dog yet as I had still had some tablets but she's due for worming again now so I'll start her on it today.

Cooper, thanks for the link, I might give the 4 seasons a try next time, it looks very good.  :)

I always find chemical wormers a bit harsh on my dogs tummies, so again thanks for the link, I think I will give the 4 seasons a try (well not me personally :-) )
