Hi Tammy ...please don't post all in capitals ..it is considered rude on the internet :D :D Anyway ..if you have a look here : Yorkshire Terrier Info you will find breeders and also contact details for the UK Yorkshire Terrier Club ..they should be able to help you locate a breeder  :)

all breeders seem to live in the north on my search for a yorkie i was speaking to a lady yesterday she claiming to be the best breeder in the country although i have never seen her yorkies she was from leicster  she says they have ozmilion line or you should contact the breed club or seach on the kennel club website where they have a list of kc reg puppys available

Well, I think the ozmillion kennels can justifiably claim to be the best breeders in the country, Osam is actually a guy, and they ARE the ozmillion line!  However, the lady you met may well have dogs from his lines.  Looking at a Champ. show catalogue, ther are Yorkies from all over the UK.

gwen i live in he south and i have been looking for a yorkie for mounths  the earliest i can get is dec a litter will be available  with ozmilion line i am on a waiting list  you will not believe the amount of backstreet breeders that are about that i have come across in my search esp in the south  producing yorkies that are well under the breed standard ,saying  that just breeding any yorkie with any yorkie

I think that the owners of the Ozmillion affix must be fed up with their kennel name being used (falsely) to enhance the quality of yorkie litters. I know that his stock is at very limited stud and yet according to most breeders their pups " have Ozmillion lines ". Why don't folk go direct to Osman if they want his lines ?. I have seen Yorkies the size of cocker spaniels  and been told that " they have Ozmillion breeding behind them " - I think not !!.

What they mean is that one of the pup's gt-gt-gt-gt-grandfathers was an Ozmillion dog. None of the others though!

You will find very few Ozmillion dogs in the UK outside of the Ozmillion Kennels-there are people who have used his dogs tho' which is probably the only way to get a dog from his breeding in the UK

Grondemon, Jeangenie & Moonmaiden,  couldnt agree more!  People have a great dog or a well known kennel somewhere way back in a pedigree, and play up on it no end when selling mediocre pups!  Unfortunatley, the General Public are so willing to be hoodwinked over their own pup that they take it all in and believe it!  And however great a dog is, if you count the number of other "nobodies" in the pedigree, that one little bit of exceptional breeding 3/4/5 generations back are unlikely to turn the litter way down the line into carbon copies of the breed standard!

Hi Yorkiefamily,   unfortunatley there are lots and lots of back yard breeders in most popular breeds up and down the country.  A wait for a few months is certainly not unusual for a pup from a reputable breeder - we often have people waiting well over a year for a show pup!  If you have a found a breeder you like and trust, well done, the time will pass quickly and it will be well worth the wait.
