can i give my dog cooked rabbit bones or should they be raw like chicken bones? a was going to get them a rabbit from the butches and cook it for them and give it to them with the bones

No, don't give any cooked bones at all.

Cut up the rabbit and give it raw.

Unless you wish to eat the meat yourself then I would suggest cooking ;)

I had a cooked rabbit a couple of weeks ago - the bones are like needles and I was advised not to feed the bones - when I cam to cut the meat off i can understand why - they look deadly .
Ive had a pup in the vets today with a stuck bone that she tried to pass ( not from rabbit by the way)

Mine eat em, fur bones n all...

I do cut (i lie, i get my NEIGHBOUR to do it) the heads off though, not that the dogs couldnt eat them, ooooooh they could and would, but id never eat anything ever again 'blarghhhhhhhhhhhh'.......
