Do's anyone have any experience of bootliners, ridged or other, what material do you think is the best, fixings, as we have seen some that are velcro'd round the top of the back of the seats, please give me some advice as we have never had one of these before

I was luckily given a rigid bootliner for my estate, from someone who changed their car. It fitted snug, and really was a godsend. it really protected the car from dirt, sick, water etc. because it was a snug fit, and a solid form, it did not need fixing to the car in any way.

I have a waterproof fabric one which attaches to the back seat headrests with velcro.  Its ok, and a lot cheaoer than the rigid ones, but you do have to keep readjusting it and doing the velcro fasteners up.  Personally i would go for a rigid one next time

I have a rigid one.  They are expensive against the others but so much better.  If it is a fairly new car ring a dealer and see what is available.

I have a very expensive bootliner(but then all bits for my car are expensive :( good job it doesn't break down)however it is now 8 years old & I have had it in three drifferent cars(all the same model)& it is still in good nick netter than a cheaper one which I would have had to replace several times as my collie is a digger & hates blankets beds etc)

I have the rubberised sort which I got from Halfords.  Fairly inexpensive and like the others an absolute godsend.  Its good because you can just take it out and hose it down which is great when we go down the beach on a regular basis and up the moors.  Highly recommended

I've got a manufacturers rigid bootliner in my volvo estate and wouldn't be without it they are invaluable for keeping the carpets clean.
One problem I did have was that and blankets put in for the dogs do tend to slip about, but a bit of rubber carpet stuff underneath works a treat
