Hi all,
Wondered if anybody could assist. I am shortly to be the proud new master of a Dobe puppy. But I have only recently moved area and would appreciate anybodies advice on good vets in the area. I am actually in Farnborough but there are a few in Bromley and Orpington and any personal recommendations would be a great help.
Good vets are very hard to come by - we have two horses also and our previous vets (although claiming to be equine) decided to send out a vet to adminster some injections to the horses. Well the day arrived and a really nice 20 year old lady turns up. After being squashed by a 3/4 ton horse she admited that she normally dealt with hamsters and small animals. Needless to say not using that clinic again but it gave me a smile for the day :)
Last thing I want to do is register the rascal to a vet who hates dogs! and lets be honest Dobes dont have a good rep with some (although its their problem and not mine as a responsible owner!!!!!).
Thanks again.

Thanks for that. Not to mention the quick reply!
As they say - if its good enough for the boys in blue - must be good enough for the boys in black and tan :)
Will contact them straight away and get that sorted.

PS - Thanks for the welcome. Nice community here.

I wonder if I can use this thread also for the same type of help. I am moving to a village seven miles south east of Lincoln next month. Can anyone reccomend a good vet. I have five working HPR's.
Diane

Oooh....what village? I ask because I live in Sleaford ..about 18 miles from Lincoln
