Well I would for one. :) this little one; Rio, is almost too good to be true; Monday was day 3 of full days here. So Fri-Sat-Sun nights so far here, Fri night cried-howled would be more descriptive. Sat cried a bit but not much. Sunday cried at the beginning of the night but not after 10-20 minutes or so. Tonight hard to believe but she went outside did what she was supposed too then came in walked to her bed (we didn't go with the crate option after all; although we have one) then Rio curled up next to her jumper (her comfort blanket, something every pup should have :) this is one of my old wolley jumpers when she sleeps during the day we put her on it) and looked up as if to say "well are you going to bed then) that was almost 3/4 of and hour ago and so far not a peep. :D
Rio sleeps in a seperate room to Sal. My choice makes the pup a little more independant I think than always staying with Sal I want her to be able to stay on her own.
One proud owner and oh no poo's in the house YET of course and only three wee's during the night one a night, so far "okay so we are quick off the mark with outside when she wakes as soon as she does she's out but today she went to the back door and "cried" to go out :D . Okay we get up at 5.00am but hey 6 and 1/2 hours is not bad for a pup at all. You haev to help all you can don't you? ;)
Okay brag and boast over sure it will change but today I am again a PROUD puppy owner and Sal of course is still perfect :D But hey hasn't she always been?

hey kazz,
how old is your pup & what breed?
I have a 5 month old staff and he has been exactly like yours!
He slept with us for the first couple of nights, then we put him into his crate in the bedroom. He cried for the toilet, but we used the newspaper.
At about 2 month he would start going to the front door and letting us know he wanted out.
He is now asleep next to me. He is a very good dog, and hardly any chewing!!!!

Yeah I know what you mean!
Arent they sooo loving?
I have just posted another topic entitled 'funny sleeper' if you read that it will just emphasise the fact they are very affectionate!
I hope you have lots of fun times with your 2.
Staffs have the best character & sense of humour dont they

Mom of two :)
Donna and charliex
We are picking up our new addition to the family on Friday the 13th!!!!! I hope its not an Omen as when we were looking for a puppy we had Damien on the list of names but we've settled for Busta. Think SBT's are the best dogs but I am biased and no matter how hard we try to teach Lacey to sleep in her bed we always wake up with her either between us or at the foot of the bed waiting for a chance to snuggle into any gap she can find!

I have a 10 week old bullmastiff, and ive never had so much as a cry out of her of a night when goin to bed , even the first night, quiet as a mouse (we got her at 8 weeks) I dont use a crate, and im not using papers to house train, she just seems to have got the hang of this house training from the start, every night apart from one she has made no mess....7am i get up .....shocking when its the school hols and i could be in bed til 10.....ah well, the greeting i get off her in the mornings, makes up for the early start.....

nah i love this little girl, she is a right hand full and puts her dad in his place all the time, but she was full house trained by 12 weeks and has not chewed anything so far. she now goes to her bed when she has had enough, the only thing she has to learn is that when the baby is sitting on the floor thats not the que for her to sit on him :)

Hi
Im picking my new staffie pup up on sun im very excited!
Our boy is out of Gullarens Dazzling White Lad and Ramblestaff Temptin Fate. If you PM me your e-mail address or e-mail me at mine then I will send you the pic I have of him at the moment. We had a baby boy last year in September and called him Taylor so we are going to call the puppy Taylormade for Luxnalls and his pet name will be Busta!!!!!!!!!! Really can't wait but have got to till the 27th of Aug.
My lab was fully house trained by 12weeks and never gave us a prob, she cryed the first night home and it turned out that she was hungry.
Our new bullmastiff pup arrived at our house fully house trined at 8 1/2 weeks, she doent cry at night but gets a bit whiney at about 6am for a wee. The worst thing she has done so far is tip out the bin, which we now lock in the garden at night and she likes to take the dirty socks out of the washing bin.
