My bitch is in season how many times is it best to mate a maiden bitch to a proven stud. I was thinking twice

twice is the norm 48hrs apart although I have had a litter born from One 5 min tie on day 11 ...good luck

I have had 3 litters from my bitch using one mating.  She has given me two litters of 13 and one of 12.  My own personal view is unless they dont tie properly then one if sufficent.  I do suspect though most people have two.
