Just thinking about the honeysuckle thing, on another post, I am often at a loss when trying to find plants in the local garden centre which are safe for dogs. Although there are sites on the web I find so many refer to other countries and not UK specific. So I thought perhaps we might have a list here which members can add to.

I had feverfew growing in my garden, none of my dogs touched it, then I had one who was always digging it up and chewing it, he was really poorly from doing this and I ended up getting rid of it.

I'm sure we have all had experiences like this, so thought perhaps we could start a list for people to consult. Perhaps we could also list things like chocolate, onions and raisins? What do you think folks?

Polly I know there is a site with a list of plants, ranging from very poisonous to the may cause discomfort, but I can't remember what it was called, will have to go look for it as I know it is there.

The site on the link is good, but what is loco weed? It is a wild plant. I've never heard of it before.
Also I just thought it might be a good idea for us to have a list here of our own which we could add to, and add any symptoms and what to do if a dog ingests any of these substances or plants.

I wonder if your dog was self-medicating, Polly. Feverfew is a renowned cure for headaches and migraine (it's the only thing that works with mine, and I grow it specially).
