Is £1500 the going rate for a blue KC Reg SBT Bitch?

NO way, see recent post, think they have gone up by £250 since last week but are still worth between £400 and £600 same as any other colour.

thats really excessive! I know blue is a nice colour, but thats taking it TOO far IMO!!

I wouldnt pay this for any colour of staffie. sory but there you have it. It sounds like someone is cashing in on the appeal of blues, and chancing their luck!

Supose it is a matter of personal taste, most of the blues I have seen have not been very nice in other respects although I supose you can get a good blue with nice dark eyes and sound conformation but they are not worth any more than any other colour. The best one I have seen was very nearly black anyway and I don't think it would have made much difference to it's appearance if it had been black.

Have to agree with you Jackie.I have never seen a good example of a staffy that is blue(or blue and white).Maybe its because the breeders of these dogs were breeding for colour rather that conformation.
