lucas terriers are a derivative of the working sealyham terrier, they were made popular by the late brian plummer who bred a hunting pack of them, although he bred terriers which were more suited to hunting small game rather than the original sealyhams which hunted pretty much anything! try a web search on lucas terriers, sir jocelyn lucas, and brian plummer. I believe before his death he set up some kind of lucas terrier society and passed on his breeding project to them.

they are white bodied rough coated dogs which make good pets I know because my brother is right into his terriers and he hunted with a chap who kept some. If you are looking for a working terrier, there are better breeds to be had, but if you are looking for a pet, they suit well.

Sorry I don't know how available they are, think they are related to the Sealyham but have to say I have never met one. If you try putting them in a search engine you may come up with a breeder or owner who would welcome you as a visitor.

Are they? Never heard that before, thought they were just Lucas Terriers but then I said I did not know much about them.
