i have just mated my bich would a sprinkle of bonemeal be benifecail i don,t want to give her unnessary vits

hi,you can give bonemeal to bitches in whelp as ive got some and it says you can on the tub,although i never give it my whelping bitches i do give it to the pups when a few weeks old and i do rate it to be good,i just give complete bicuit and tripe and add 1 tablespoon of cottage cheese each eve meal,hope this helps,angie

Have to say I have always believed that if the bitch is in healthy lean condition when she is served she should be fine with her normal diet to start with and then an increase and may be a change to puppy food should do fine. Unless of course you always add supplements then I suppose you should continue.
