Guest it may be an idea to leave your deposit and await the papers ...

The kennel club is very quick with the papers now so if they have sent them they are likely to be there by next week if not give them all call yourself.

My papers were there and back in 4 days this year.

The breeder should forward the KC registration to you (if it hasnt been received by the time you collect your pup). It also has the form to transfer the puppy into your name. If you are worried that the litter is not being registered, you can always check with the KC.

If I was you I wd. get the breeder to put it in writing that the KC papers are to follow and for both yourself and the breeder to sign it and to have a copy each.

I do this with mine if I haven't registered them early enough to get the papers back in time before the puups go to their new homes.

You can email the KC and ask if the breeder has just registered a litter - all you need is her name, location and if you can the name of the dam/sire. They'll email you back with and answer which should put your mind at rest. Good luck with your new pup!
