We recently lost our beloved brindle boxer Schubert after almost 12 years together. These years were the best of our lives and after much discussion we have decided to have another.  Obviously no other breed was considered and we would like another brindled male.  The only debate is whether to have an adult or a puppy.  We feel either would be accaptable as we have alot of love and time to give.  We live in the countryside, have no children, are fit and active and feel like part of out family is missing with no dog.  Nothing could repalce Schubert but we would love to give another dog a good home, an excellent lifestyle in doggy terms and oodles of love and fuss. We are looking for someone near the Chesterfield area (or any reasonable travelling distance to get our dog ,considered) to help us find the boxer we want.
Thanks, life is so dull without Schubert we look forward to hearing from you.

sorry about your loss we recently lost our 11 year old boy. have you tried contacting any boxer clubs. they should be able to tell you of any litters or rescues which ever you go for.
boxers are great dogs but i have got a leonberger as i didn't want to compare the new one to the good old boy we had.
good luck in your search.

Hi Marie.  Hope you are getting over the loss of your old boy.  I know how hard it is but I'm sure you've got years of fantastic memories as we have.  Ours was such a character and was known by all in our village.  The whole pub was in tears when they found out he'd died.  (He was a regular and enjoyed a half of real ale once a week!)I take comfort in the fact that everybody loved him. I have contacted local boxer clubs who have been so kind and understanding and we have numbers now for up and coming litters in our area.  Thanks and hope you have many happy years with your new dog. Julie

Hi there,
some very kind person put us in touch with a lady who is looking to re-home an 11 month old boxer that sounds exactly what we are looking for.  We are going to visit the dog in a couple of days.  Its so nice to know that people are looking out for you and us dog lovers help one another.  I hope one day I can give someone in my position a helping hand as someone has for me.  Thanks

Hi there sorry to hear of your sad loss. I may be able to help you, a friend (reputable show kennel) has an 18 month old boy she needs a loving home for he is stunning and very gentle but she just has too many at the moment to give them all enough attention, he is very close to you ( Derbyshire) If you are interested I can pass on the contact details just email me on home@strutlixboxers.co.uk.
