Hi,

My Collie x has developed a hard lump on his ribs.  Has anybody any ideas what this might be?
He doesn't seem to be in pain!!!!

It could be anything from a bony growth to a cyst to a cancerous lump to an infected grass seed to an innocent fatty lump to almost anything.  There are so many things that it could be that it would be advisable to get him checked out by your vet as we are not vets and cannot take the place of veterinary advice

I have had him to the vets and they have x rayed. Just for info, his rib is misshapen, and is hooking outwards, probably the result of some injury that has passed un-noticed......
