Hello.
I am interested to hear what you all think.
I am serously thinking of building a doggy day care/ boarding kennel on my property, I live in Canada.
All the esablisments around my town offer only the basic care for clients dogs, an inside shelter , maybe 4x6 feet, and then an equally small outside run adjoined.
I am thinking of a big area , in my barn for the well socialized dogs to romp together , with doogy doors to approx. two acres of feild to run in. or the not so socialized I will build bigger kennels, and bigger outside runs.

I am wondering if anyone could add some good ideas for me,and what I may have to consider before embarking on this journey. I am zoned for a kennel on my property. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on makes makes akennel good and what makes onne not so good.

I have read about day schools for dogs in California.  There have different play areas for different sizes/ages of dog.  Areas for sleeptime, quite areas for puppies and even a pond to play in - not too sure how the owners would like that at the end of the day.  They also had a website and web camera so the owners could log on at lunct time and check out the pooches.

I thought it was a brilliant idea, shame there isn't something similar here in the UK.

You might try and contact a doggy forum in california for more ideas.
