I am in Harlow in Essex. I am 26 and have four kids a husband and a mad puppy. I would really love a penpal and possibly some other doggy person to meet up with and swap horror stories. Is anybody near me? Do any of you get together? I have no real doggy friends. All of myfriends are into fashion and alcohol and I cant afford either! My mum is into dogs but I get bored with her!!! She is always telling me what to do and to be fair I have four kids of my own now and I get my pleasure from bossing them around so feel my mum is pushing her luck!!!! Husband says I am just like her!!! How rude!!!!

KatyB I cant believe you are 26 with 4 kids   Thats the same age as me and I just couldnt imagine having kids at the moment :D

Anyway, im 26 I do have a boyfriend but live in my own house (independent woman ;) - although he may aswell live with me the amount of time he spends there, handy for dog sitting though :P ) in a village near Basingstoke, Hampshire.  I share my house with Fagan my Irish Setter pup, Tarquin and Delilah my Tonkinese X kittens, Herman my chinchilla and Frank my snake ;)

Im always up for swapping doggy stories and meeting up with like minded people.

I'm from Brizol too Sharon :D - I am 27, bought my first house last year with my partner of 5 years, he is the one who talked me into getting an afghan hound   Promised he would do all the grooming but it hasn't really worked out like that :rolleyes:  I bath Lana every four days at the moment (she is changing coat) We use Pantene to bath her (smooth and silky), she has a better diet than us and is very much a spoilt child substitute :D  We are a very happy family :)

Well I'm 33, live in South Manchester on my own, well with 4 dogs.  Left home at the age of 31 !!!  Still looking for Mr Right (yeah in my dreams).  The only children that I have are my dogs :d

i live in ireland with my parents have my own house (dad bought it on condition mam could use as a montessori downstairs  so i have decieded to stay at home only 19 and we have broadband plus couldnt bring mollie with me cos of kids downstairs

I live in a small village Parson Drove in cambridgshire, had the kids early, they are now 34  27  26 and 24, and have been married 35 years, I share my home with my husband and 6 year old grandaughter, her mum is still in the north east where I originally come from, daughter 26 lives next door with 2 children 4  and 5, also another on the way, we found out last week, so more or less also live with us.I have 4 step grandchildren and a great grand daughter 3.

We have to newfoundlands, 2 dogue de bordeaux, 2 Lhasa Apso's, 1 Tibetan Mastiff, + another coming from America on October, 1 8 year old Tibetan Spaniel, 1 8 year old manic yorkie, and a 3 year old toy poodle, do not think I have missed anyone out but with that lot you never know.

Do not be fooled into thinking that children leave home as they get older, yes they go and then return with wifes and children in tow.

I live in Cambridgeshire too in a village called Elm near Wisbech. Two kids now grown up  and left home - YEAH !!!. I  have 6 Belgians - 4 chickens and 1 zebra finch. Married to Trevor who works for the World Society for the Protection of Animals ( WSPA) and goes all round the world on animal welfare issues. I work part time in special needs.

I live in Milton Keynes, Bucks and am 26 but with no kids and no plans of kids either!!  Don't mind being an Aunty as I can hand them back over when I've had enough!!

I live with my boyfriend Mat, who's 29, and our boxer Glazby (named after his favourite DJ)!!  I'd love to meet up and chat to more doggy-friendly people as most of my friends are all into going out, which we only really get to do once a month now - the rest of our time is dedicated to keeping the boss of the house happy - Glazby!!

My favourite tipple has got to be wine - though I've recently found that I've moved on from bottles to boxes of the stuff!!  Mind you - from what I've read I'm not on my own there!!  ;-)

I've got 2 Staffy bitches and a lurcher dog.
Also, spend a lot of time with my sisters brown dobie bitch.  Hoping to add another to the gang soon, would love a french bulldog or may adopt a dog from work.  I fell in love with a golden X Flatcoat retriever recently!

I live just outside of Waterlooville and walk my GSP's most nights at Havant Thicket.  Like to take them there and scoot off round the back of the woods as I like to relax and unwind from work and I bump into a lot less people the further off the beaten track I go.

To add to the board for those who don't know much about my animals, we also have a Harris Hawk, at present 30 ferrets !!! and 3 cats.  We have just lost a Saker Falcon which for the time being we are not replacing.

OH also has 2 bee hives and is producing his own honey.

I'm in Market Drayton Shrops but an looking to sell up this year and move to south Derbyshire or Nottingham.  I've got schipperkes, a pom, 3 cats and a tank of tropical fish, snails and shrimps oh and 2 daughters aged 18 and about to  be 21 on 14th August apparently!

My Mum and Step Dad live in Market Drayton!!  Do you know Adderley Road??!!

My parents live at Brooklands the house opposite the Gingerman Pub!!!  Its a lovely part of the country but they are also looking to move again, they want to come back down a bit nearer to the family (in Milton Keynes).
