I hope my friend doesn't mind and I've not asked her if I can post this, but somebody took a Spanish Water Dog to a gundog working test and won the novice handler !! 

I'm so pleased for her.  I have the litter sister who I know in the right hands would do well too, but I just don't have the time or the incling to do this side of things although I wish I had.

Hopefully with something like this happening the KC will realise that we are real gundogs :d

Thats wonderful! It is never easy to win at any class of gundog work, the competition is always high! It's also nice to hear of different breeds getting into the results.

They wont be "real gundogs" for very long if the breeders dont work them though! Get yourself a whistle and some dummies and get yours working. No excuses! ;-) :-D :-D
