Hi
We have just had our 2 BC's spayed and I was just wondering if we are likely to notice any changes in their behaviour now they wont have hormones running around them :)

Thanks

Jo

It may change, or rather cause, a re-alignment of the relationship between then as spaying can increase the pushiness of a bitch. Otherwise depending on their age the thing you are most likely to notice some time in the next 2 years will be in the coat.

I have seven spayed biches and the only difference in them now to before they were spayed is that they don't come into season.  A friend's B.C. bitch did have a change of coat.  It looked terrible for about 4 - 6 months then after a major moult it went back to looking even better than it had before and has remained so.
