hi i'm Jan and I have wanted a pug for a long time.  I have another dog, Cross bordercollie and I have recently sold my horse. Now there is a space for a new friend and I hope to find a pug pup soon..........  I have been to see a litter that was delivered by caesarean section...........is this common and is it hereditary??  Would a bitch only be able to have a single litter?  I would be grateful for any tips in looking...........the litter i viewed was only 4 weeks old so it was hard to really see their potential........ And there was only one bitch not taken........she was sweet but looked a bit smaller and darker, would i be wise to keep looking?? please help!
