Topic Dog Boards / Breeding / no blood with seasons

I have two bitches neither of whom bleed when they are in season.  I know they are because I have a dog which climbs the wall when they come on heat.  Has anyone else had this problem and if they have has it affected the bitches fertility?  their mum is one of 13 and has had 3 litters of 13 so obviously fertility problems do not run in the family.

Any help appreciated

The lady who's stud dogs we use, also has bitches.  Non of them bleed or swell during a season, it's only because the dogs let her know they are in season that she knows.  They have all had litters with no problems, but she does have to have them premate tested as it is difficult to tell the exact first day they came in season.
