Barney (cocker spaniel) is now 11 months old and I think my hard work is starting to pay off, I know we still have a long way to go but he seems to now understand my hand signals: sit, down, wait and come.  :)  I'm so proud of him, especially as he is my first dog and although I had read all the books beforehand nothing could have prepared me for this past year.  We have had tons of love, a few tears (me not him!), lots and lots of mischief but its his excitment that always amazes me.  It is so exciting to go for a walk, to play, to learn new things..................the list is endless.  Aren't dogs wonderful creatures.

They are wonderful creatures when it all comes together. Glad it is all working out :) Now if you can only get him to do the ironing ;)

Its mad isnt it, my OH and I were talking last night about how much Fagan has affected our lives.  I can honestly say I love that dog so much im worried it might be unhealthy :D :P

Oh, tell me about it! The dogs have become my life!

Me to I`ve got 6 and just can`t imagine life without any of them, I find i do the same with them as i use to do with the children stand and look at them and get this fantastic warm glow and you just want to cuddle them to bits! I just luv them!
