Hi all

I am moving to Tenerife at the end of the year. We are taking the cat with us and we have started her pet passport. I am wondering if anyone knows of any good airlines who transport animals and take care of them properly (very paranoid that she will get thrown about)....also any that are quite reasonable.
Also, does anyone know where I might get one of these boaxes to put her in? She has a white wire cage (opens at the top...you know the sort)....but this will obviously not do....

Christine, I know you are in Spain.....did you have to deal with any of this?

Hi Merlin, no been here 23 &half yrs now so things a bit different then :D I have brought a couple of pups over since then tho & flew schedule flights with Iberia & was allowed to have them on the plane with me in travelling box. Think it`s only schedule flights & certain airports that cater for animals flying, Heathrw is one of them. I know a couple of ch/doggers moved to Spain so do a search on here see what you can find, don`t think we`ve heard how they got on tho :)

Yes Heathrow, about 4/5yrs ago now :) I`ve flown a few times with Iberia but have to tell you they`ve never been on time & I ended up missing connecting flights & once they even lost my luggage!!! Wouldn`t mind but I was only in London for long w/end & got it back late Sunday night, came home the next day.....
I`m down in southern Spain, place called San Roque, it`s hot but not as hot as it has been thank goodness! :)
