Hi,
My puppy/dog class is having a summer funday.
There will be dog training and prizes for: most prettiest bitch, most handsome dog, best puppy, saddest eyes, dog with best expression, waggiest tail etc...
There will also be prizes for the dog in best fancy dress.
I wondered if anyone had any ideas for Max's outfit?
This is an organised event.
It is only for about 2 hours.
(thought I had better add the above 2 points)

Hi max staff
I've just made a quick fancy dress for our Agility club's funday. I used a piece of white vet bed to make a 'sheep suit' so that my dog could go as 'a wolf in sheep's clothing' - dead simple and easy ( especially with velcro to fasten it ! )
Enjoy your day

wow sounds like fun!
In our christmas party, I dressed my H (yellow lab) as Robin and his best mate (red setter) was batman! it was so so funny.
They won! ha ha

At the show we held a couple of years back the fancy dress winner (a newfi) came as a boyer, red satin shorts, and boxing gloves! Loked great. Or how about swimming trunks and sunglasses (a beach boy)
bye

Depending on how much you want to pay, there are usually loads of dog fancy dress costumes on ebay - lions, ladybirds etc....all in the dog section.

You could put your dog in a pair of tights and you could wear a big net skirt and go as Dame Margot Fountain and Rudolph Nearenough :D :D

Hey!
I didnt think there would be many replies to my post to be honest!
I was a bit weary myself about posting this topic, reason being, some people may not agree.
I am really happy with the amount of replies my post has received!
Thank you to everyone who has posted! I will think about them all.
I hope people don't mind me taking their idea though!?
I hope we find something.
THE ONLY PROBLEM IS, HOW DO I GET THEM TO STAY ON FOR 4 HOURS? HE IS A PUP, AND LIKES TO EAT THINGS! LOL
Thanks again,
Ashleigh
I'm sure he won't have to wear the costume for anything like that time - or at least I very much hope not. We have a fancy dress competition at my obedience club Christmas party and also at my breed club's funday. Both of them take no longer than about 10 minutes and the clothes are imnediately taken off the dogs. Asking them to wear them for much longer would not be kind to the dogs.
I like the ballet idea!
