Can anyone tell me if im feeding my dog the right amount of food per day, i have a one year old dogue de bordeaux which i feed her 500g of beta complete mixed with 1lb of mince beef or chichen, she gets this anount of food twice a day. she also gets dog treats and some times chicken wings as a treat as well, she seems to look ok but i was just wondering if this was ok for her?

Amount

Only you can tell if the dog is getting the right amount in calories as only you can see her and use your hands to measure if she is carrying enough/too much weight.

Content

A good diet is one that provides all the necessary nutrients for your dog with as few additives, fillers, preservatives, flavourings etc which can contribute to ill health.

Not sure if Beta dog food fulfils that criteria; if you are feeding this amount of raw meat it should be balenced with bones otherwise you are will not be providing the correct calcium:phosphorus ratio; meat alone is calcium deficient and will not lead to healthy bones etc.
