hi can anyone tell me that if you dont keep their yearly boosters up, it can affect any insurance claim. thanks sue

Yes - but only for illness that would have been prevented by the boosters, I believe

as far as i know it is part of the policy that the dog has to be boostered every year.i don't know if it affects the policy if they are late etc as it hasn't happened to me. but they could try and get out of payment if the dog is over due if the vets didn't advice it.

When I phoned to start insurance for my rescue boy I asked about their policy on dogs not boosted every year. They would only refuse to pay for a disease they could have been vaccinated against. This seems quite fair to me. Company I'm with is PetHealthCare services but probably better to check with the company you use
