Hi all,

Just a quick question.  Henry has been up last night 3 times for a poo.  It was very sloppy.  He had a bit of tinned pedigree meat yesterday in jelly so I am wondering whether that has just gone through him.  Any suggestions as to what is the best to do?

Cheers

Depends on how old he is really. Is it the first time he`s had the tinned meat, if so it could be that. How old is he? I`d wait & see how things go today, if alls well then carry on with his normal feeding routine, if not then just let him have access to water, sweetened with honey. If he`s a pup & there`s any more runs ot he seems unwell in himself, don`t feed him & give the vet a ring.

He is 18 months old.  He generally only has eukaneuba but yesterday he had a bit of tinned meat.  BUT.......I have just found out that he ate some horse manure last night!!! perhaps this would explain it!  He has been wormed and is ok in himself so I guess he is just having a "clear out"!  They just don't learn do they! :-)

At a guess I would say it was more likely the tinned meat than the horse manure - the horse manure is more natural :D :D

He has eaten sheep muck before now and that went through him too.  Probably a combination.

If the house/sheep had been recently wormed the chemicals could cause upset or real illness, whatever it was tho give his tum a little rest to settle & he should be fine :)

LOL Christine horse or house?

Thanks for your replies.

He is still being nuts so I am not too worried about him.  Also he hasn't been to the toilet again since this morning so I guess it's gone through his system.
