I have a 6 year old SBT and he has a sist between his toes on his front paw, the vet removed once about 4 years ago. (at a cost of £180) I dont mind paying out to have this done again but he seemd in alot of pain once he had had the operation with wearing the "flower pot" as he is very clumsy, is there any way to remove of make the sist go down without another operation, I would be willing to try anything as it doesnt seem to hurt him at present but he does lick it.

Have you tried soaking his foot in hot salted water (1 tbsp salt in a pint of water) for a few minutes at a time? I found that was very helpful at clearing an interdigital cyst that one of my bitches had.

You could try soaking the foot in warm water the same as Jeangenie said but maybe use 'Epsom Salts' in it instead.  My girl had an abscess between her toe and this worked well for her.  Hold the foot in the 'Warm' water for about ten mins at a time if you can.

HTH.
