we are thinking of adding the above dog to our family, as we have a large house set in acres of land, we have a fence around the land, and allow the dog can roam in the enclosed area all day.

would she protect our house?
would she be affectionate with family?
what are they like with other dogs?
we have other dogs (all large), but they would lick a intruder to death!
we would want her to be nice to new people, could she be trained to accept strangers when im with her???
